Refund and Cancellation Policy

At James Immigration Solutions Ltd (Training Wing), we strive to provide high-quality training and resources. We understand that circumstances may change, and this policy outlines your rights regarding cancellations and refunds for our IAA Level 1 Immigration Adviser Training.
1. The 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of booking (the “Cooling-off Period”), provided that:
- You have not attended the training session; AND
- You have not accessed, downloaded, or viewed the digital study materials sent to you.
2. Digital Content Policy (Study Packs)
Our training packages include immediate access to proprietary digital study materials (PDFs, roadmaps, etc.).
- Important: By requesting and accessing these digital materials before the 14-day cooling-off period has ended, you acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel the contract and claim a refund for the digital portion of the fee.
- If you have accessed the study pack but wish to cancel your attendance at the live class, a partial refund may be granted at our discretion, deducting the value of the materials provided (£50.00 administrative and material fee).
3. Live Training Cancellations (By You)
If you need to cancel your attendance at a live Zoom/Teams session, the following timelines apply:
- More than 7 days before the session:
- You may request a full refund (subject to the Digital Content Policy above).
- Alternatively, you can transfer your booking to a future date at no extra cost.
- Less than 7 days before the session:
- No refunds will be issued.
- We may, at our sole discretion, allow you to transfer your seat to the next available cohort for a rescheduling fee of £25.00.
- Non-Attendance (No Show):
- If you fail to attend the live session without prior notice, no refund or transfer will be offered.
4. Cancellations (By Us)
In the unlikely event that James Immigration Solutions Ltd must cancel or reschedule a training session (e.g., due to instructor illness or technical failure), you will be offered:
- A transfer to the next available date; OR
- A full refund of all fees paid.
Note: We are not liable for any additional costs incurred by you (e.g., time off work) resulting from a cancellation.
5. Refund Processing
- How to Request: All refund requests must be sent in writing via email to admin@iaatraining.org.uk. Please include your full name, booking reference, and reason for cancellation.
- Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.
- Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used (e.g., back to the bank account you transferred from).
